Speaker biography
William Christopher Skelley
William Skelley is a real estate investor and entrepreneur who helped pioneer real estate crowdfunding — building and leading a platform that opened property investing to a far wider base of investors, and pitching it on CNBC's Power Pitch when the category barely had a name.
He has been featured by CNBC, NBC News, The Real Deal, USA Today and Crowdfund Insider, named among the next generation of real estate leaders, and has spoken at venues including the Harvard Club of New York City and the Global Real Estate Crowdfunding Conference.
Today he invests and advises at the intersection of property and technology, working between New York and Southeast Asia. That vantage point — operator, founder, investor and advisor — is what he brings to a stage: specifics rather than platitudes, including the parts that did not work.
